What I offer
I write individually tailor-made funeral ceremonies that are both personal and distinctive. I can conduct both non-religious and religious services.
I work with you to create a ceremony that celebrates the life and qualities of your loved one. Every funeral service is completely unique and written from scratch. I'll take my lead from you, and incorporate any elements that you and your family wish to include. And if you need some creative input or guidance I can bring in my experience and sensitivity to help it all come together.
To start planning a funeral I suggest an initial meeting of around two hours. And of course I'll be available for any further meetings if needed.
My Backstory
I came to funeral celebrancy through conducting the funerals for two friends. On both occasions working with the families to create a loving, warm and fitting tribute was both a privilege and responsibility. A funeral is a unique event and as the person leading the ceremony, you have to get it right. It's an honour to serve in this way, and my first experiences of creating and conducting funerals were, in hindsight, a gift - because they showed me that I have a passion and a calling for conducting meaningful, memorable and big-hearted funeral ceremonies.
